I am telling this as I used Quora to Bring more traffic to my Blogspot Blog but I failed in it But GOOGLE supported me alot through organic way Than QUORA.Who am I to advice you against Quora, That’s because I started my first ask questions and get answers using Quora platform. Why, because I was a newbie and I want to market my blog and want to take advantage of a quora platform.
My first questions and answers pitch get enough views in the first day itself, So I want to use quora platform as a Guide to Market my Blog to the World. I see numerous people are promoting their website or blog without issues in quora.
With that said, here’s why you should avoid Quora at all costs:

If you’re trying to make a living as a blogger, then you need to avoid Quora. You won't get benefitted at all from them instead they will use you and your content of Answers for their site Grow.
You need to host your blog on your own custom domain or even Free Blog on Blospot or Blogger and start writing articles or Posts About your interesting Niche.
You need to think long-term about your decision.
- Are you serious about building a Blog on your Own?
- Are you serious about making money as a blogger?
If the answer is yes, then you need to act accordingly.
when I start my first blog. I didn’t know How to Market this Product or I didnt find any Medium to Market it thats why I went for Quora at the First

But After creating Massive Content of 500 Answers to them, Now Their so called Moderation Which is Big JOKE is trying to Block my Access as I am advertising my Blog In their MEDIUM.
Trust me… If I could go back, I would have never wasted my time with Quora.
Instead, I would have just Build my Own domain On a HOSTING or in Blogspot Blogs to receive tremendous Audience response..
So Quora is a Big Waste of Time. Beacause
2. Your Blog Don’t Perform Well in Google advertised through Quora
You could have posted your Site or Blogspot Blog URL on every answers on even on your profile but google wont backlink or index your Blogspot Blog or Domain at all.
I created my OWN Blogspot Blog and worked for a month on SEO to make it indexed through Google.
I trusted and even written an article there praising them about this but they want to Block me Now due to this.
Advertising your blog or site on Quora is a Blunder and BIG waste of time as...
It’s actually ironic that blogs created on Quora also don’t perform well in Google.
SEO is already challenging enough. Don’t make it harder on yourself/impossible by using Quora.
One of the biggest factors for performing well in Google are Indexing.
Quora will fail you on this front as well.
3. It Will Be Challenging to Index Your Blogs or Posts in Quora
I can tell you now that most bloggers are USING QUORA thinking their blogs or domain will get indexed soon and can get heavy traffic through Quora
But Sadly Quora will promote only certain users content and Links than yours or ALL of them. Once you use Quora you will know as it will spread even answers containing SPAMS or Affiliate Links or EVEN OWN domain traffic
But For your domain and for you Quora will provide you a lame excuse that your content is not allowed in their MEDIUM as they see its being used for your own personal Benefit thats why...
4. Quora Marketing Disaster
Most of the Bloggers Will Recommend Quora Marketing Guide But they will never tell the Truth as Its a Total Disaster for Newbies Using Quora For this Blogspot Blogs or their Own Website Blogs
Quora Marketing and Moderation is a Big Blunder Which Will Not Take time to review the Situation and the Help you Did for their Content for Hours and Hours. Quora will Simply BAN you by saying Policy Violation which you Need to Wonder
Trust Me If I am Saying This as I Used Quora for So Many Hours And I Know Everything About their Quora Partner Programme and Quora Space Programme But its Bad for your Marketing on Digital or For your Own Blogs Or Website
There are some exception for Some Users Quora will Allow them to do whatever thay can in Advertising and also by promoting Their Affiliate Links Which they would have gotten more 5M views too.

5. Quora Moderation A Big Joke
When you answers for a question which is related to some article or blog from your website or blogspot then if you link it and if you have less followers or less views or less upvotes , then quora moderation will flag your answer as SPAM.
But if you have enough followers and enough answers and question where Quora is earning alot from your answers and questions then quora moderation never flags even you spam then answers with lots of links.
Is it Not a joke for you? Quora will promote only those answers and questions where they get revenue from the account holder and for those new or someone legitimate and genuine they wont care cos they don't earn anything from you so they will flag the answer and delete it for spam
If you appeal them then the answers you get will be another Big Comedy as they will put the predefined policy links and post it all in the reply like options and say it maybe due one of these reasons.
So if you want Quora to earn more then use them, but it won't help you any other way for your website or backlink or for traffic or any thing which has been told by so many bloggers.
