My main advise for you is to use Blogspot, because I started my first blog using Google’s free Blogger platform in 2020 and i am successfull by using it.
Why do I ask you do it?
Well, It’s a free blogging platform and you can use it without any issues.
My first blog was in the affiliating niche and had the traditional nice looking theme on “website.blogspot.com” subdomain.

Blogspot is not being used by any blogger or any company so it will be your advantage to use it for good and gain some knowledge in blogging and also build the Brand for you.
If you use a custom domain then you need to design it or use Wordpress or any free framework available online and then change the design according to your need or within your niche. Most of the bloggers are not great designers so you should use the Blogspot easily customizable themes and start Blogging in 2023
You need to think alot about your decision in blogging career and stick to it.

If the answer is yes, then you need to use Blogspot (Blogger) where you can add any number of posts easily and steadily with any frequency on your OWN per week or per month.

Trust me when i say this, I had wasted my time with Quora, Medium and also as Guest Blogger in other Big platforms before starting this blogging as career from 2022 in Blogger platform.

Live every single domain you need to create the title and url and keywords for each blog posts you post in your blogger domain
You need to diversify your niche on blogspot then you stick to one single niche
You need to submit each blog posts in Google Search Console via sitemap or individually and if there is an update then you need to submit it again
Every month you need to update your blogger posts and create new posts so google index will know you means business in this free blogging platform. not just some SPAM
Once google finds your blogspot domain is serious content then it would help you rank your domain more faster than other domain
Never get dejected if your blogger domain dont work for an year or 2 years as it takes time for google to recognize it and then give you access for Adsense.
For Adsense to be Activated for your blogspot domain you need to add atleast some 50 posts and wait for few months for google to accept it. For some reason if it didnt activate once then apply it again like i did.

Never test any blogspot domain for fun as its all serious and you can use it as your own SAAS network.

Try to update your blog posts every month and try to do research work on the niche you are going to write and then write it down

Once you write atleast 50 blog posts then apply for adsense and it will take a month for adsense to activate your blog and then your earning journey will start depends on the traffic.
